You! Alumni of the EforAll Business Accelerator program. The initial launch includes businesses from EforAll Cape Cod and EforAll/EparaTodos Holyoke. Any alumni of the program from any community are welcome to participate after this initial launch with Cape Cod and Holyoke.
What does it cost?
It is free to you, the alumni.
Why did I build this business directory?
I love EforAll. I think it is a great program and I’ve been actively involved in the program for over four years. I’m on the board of the EforAll Cape Cod community and I’ve had the pleasure to be a mentor for seven entrepreneurs on Cape Cod. My personal desire to shop at EforAll businesses and (my inability to keep track of them personally) got me thinking about a site where I could find and search businesses associated with the program. This is the result, a project of personal desire, and a site to aggregate all EforAll businesses – and allow the businesses to be searchable by categories, tags, text, community, cohort, etc.
Who am I?
Hi, I’m Dan Richards. If you’re a Cape Cod Alum, many of you have met me for 5 minutes in mentor speed dating sessions! I have spent 40 years working in the software technology industry. The last ten years or so I have worked as a technology consultant or CTO. I am currently CTO at MyinTuition.org and a technology consultant at CalmerChoice.org. What is it not?
This is NOT an official EforAll.org project. This is my personal project. It was built and developed by me. It is owned, funded and operated solely by me (and a few kind souls who have helped me along the way). The site has been built transparently with EforAll and they have been supportive and helpful. Thank you Amanda, Christin and Gaby. In short, if you have questions about the site – ask me, not EforAll!
What are my intentions for the site?
At this time, it is a labor of love. I want this directory to exist, and I believe that there are many other people, just like me, around the community who would love to buy from all of you – if they only knew you existed and could easily find you! My hope is that this site gets shared around a lot and generates new business leads etc. for all of you. This site is NOT limited to Cape Cod and Holyoke EforAll alumni; ultimately I would love the site to have business listings from the growing number of EforAll communities around the country. I also hope the site helps build and develop a greater community of EforAll entrepreneurs and enables all of you to find each other and support each other no matter where you are. You all have need for each others’ services too!
The form information is used to create your account and to create an initial listing for your business in the site.
You will receive a welcome email with login instructions. NOTE: It may take some time before your account is created, so don’t worry if you don’t hear anything right away.
Once you receive the welcome email; login and edit your listing by updating any information, choosing what categories and tags are relevant for your business and loading some images to your listing. That’s it! You’re now part of the site!
